Robert Dufek

Bio
Robert Dufek was raised in Clark, NJ and is a high school graduate of ALJ High School. While growing up as a kid, Robert worked on the weekends with his father (the late Robert Dufek Sr.) helping sort fittings and material and cleaning the company vans. Upon graduating high school, Robert began working full-time for Dufek Inc. with his father where he worked his way up from a helper to a mechanic and began running his own crew.
In August 1992, Robert passed his NJ State Master Plumbers exam and joined Anthony Migliaro as a licensed Master Plumber of New Jersey. In October 1993, Robert and Anthony started their own company (Dufek & Migliaro Plumbing Inc.) with the guidance and business expertise from Robert Dufek Sr. Their first “shop” was out of a two-car garage at Anthony’s previous residence in Clark. Together, they worked out of Clark for 3 years prior to purchasing a property at 30 W. Price Street in Linden. They renovated the newly purchased building to create their first official business location in 1996.
After a few years, Robert and Anthony decided to move to a new location on Hurst Street in Linden where they worked out of for about 10 years before settling down in Rahway for the last 11 years. Robert is the first one to shop every morning and is one of the hardest working individuals anyone can meet. His knowledge and expertise in the Plumbing industry has generated business for the company and created longstanding partnerships throughout the years. Over the course of his career, Robert has also become licensed as a Master HVACR Contractor and Home Improvement Contractor.
Anthony Migliaro
Vice President / Owner
Bio
Anthony Migliaro grew up in Clark, NJ and is a high school graduate of ALJ High School. After graduating high school, Anthony joined the US Airforce and served in Germany. Upon completion of his service, Anthony returned to Clark and was offered the opportunity to work with Robert Dufek for Robert’s father (Robert Dufek Sr.) at Dufek Inc. in Kenilworth, NJ. Anthony worked there for 8 years and was the first employee to pass the NJ State Master Plumbers exam while at Dufek Inc.
Over the years, Anthony has continued to excel and holds licenses as a Master Plumber, Master HVACR Contractor, Backflow Inspector, Construction Official, Plumbing Subcode Official, Plumbing Inspector, and Home Improvement Contractor. Together with Robert Dufek (Jr.), Anthony has helped build Dufek & Migliaro Plumbing Inc. into a successful company with longstanding business relationships and dedicated employees. His passion and dedication to the industry and company has made Dufek & Migliaro Plumbing a desirable work environment and recognizable company for over 30 years.
Frank Cunha
Field Supervisor
Bio
Frank Cunha was born in Lisbon, Portugal and migrated to the United States in 1976 where he lived in Newark, NJ. Frank attended East Side High School and graduated in 1982. Following high school, Frank began working for Dufek Inc. where he learned the plumbing trade and began to build his career for 4 years before pursuing another opportunity at Abadin Plumbing. After 16 years, Frank reconnected with Robert Dufek and was asked join Dufek & Migliaro Plumbing.
Frank started as a mechanic running his own crew and worked his way up to Field Supervisor. As Field Supervisor, Frank now manages crews and jobsites for all large projects along with the additional single-family homes and renovations. Frank has a variety of experience in the industry and is also qualified to excavate operating the Backhoe and mini excavator owned by the company. Frank is a valuable employee of Dufek & Migliaro and has added to the success of the company over the last 20 years.
Stephanie Ferreira
Office Manager / Controller
Bio
Stephanie Ferreira joined the Dufek & Migliaro team in January 2017. She grew up in Clark, NJ and is also Graduate of ALJ High School. Pursuant to High School, Stephanie attended Montclair State University and graduated in 2008 with Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies with a concentration in Public Relations. Stephanie has over 20 years of customer service practice and 15 years of Office / Administrative experience. Stephanie started with the company as an Office Assistant and in less than 2 years was promoted to Office Manager.
Once promoted Stephanie found new ways to improve business efficiency and has helped the company adapt to modern times. Being a proactive employee, Stephanie took it upon herself to learn the plumbing business and began reading architectural plans and assists both owners in writing proposals. Being the daughter of a mason worker / handyman, Stephanie was familiar with the construction trade and became passionate about the industry and her work. She has also become proficient in plumbing fixtures and trims and assists contractors and homeowners in selecting final material for their projects. Stephanie handles all internal matters for the company and apart from doing physical plumbing, there is no task she is not up for.
She has genuinely become a member of the team at Dufek & Migliaro Plumbing and her dedication to her work and the company is truly valued.
Katherine Cevallos
Office Assistant
Bio
Katherine (Kathy) Cevallos has been a member of the company since May 2019. Katherine grew up in Rahway, NJ and graduated from Rahway High School in 2014. When Kathy joined the team, she had primarily only worked in the retail / customer service industry with little office experience and no knowledge of the industry she was now joining. Over the last 5 years, Kathy has blossomed into an excellent Office Assistant learning how to write proposals, invoice customers, and handle the majority of all service work for the company. Kathy has a positive attitude and is always looking to learn new things and take on new responsibilities.
